“Sanstha Aadhaar Number” means a unique number assigned to non-profit organizations or
organizations engaged in charitable, religious, educational, or social activities This unique identifier also
known as Unique Identification Number (UIN) is issued by the Income Tax to the Department under
Section 12A of the Income Tax Act for receiving their income and deduction contributions under Section
80G of the Income Tax Act. The entity Aadhaar number is essential for non-profit organizations to
manage their financial transactions transparently and effectively while complying with legal and
regulatory requirements. Ensuring that funds allocated to these organizations are used for their stated
charitable purposes facilitates accountability and increases trust among donors and stakeholders If to
avail the benefits and exemptions offered under the Income Tax Act, organizations have to apply for and
